Our Story
A neighbourhood jewellery house,not a warehouse showroom
Most of our customers arrive for a wedding — a mangalsutra, a full bridal haar, a set of payal and chur for the day itself. Many come back years later for their daughter's jewellery, which is the outcome we measure ourselves on.
We began as a single counter on Kedar Nath Banerjee Road, weighing and selling what our karigars made in the room behind it. The showroom has since grown into four collections — gold, diamond, silver and gemstones — but the work is still done the same way: to order, by people whose names you would recognise.
What we stock is deliberately narrow and deliberately certified. HUID hallmarked gold in 9, 18 and 22 carat, certified diamonds, 92.5 hallmarked silver for both jewellery and puja, and natural gemstones with independent certification.
Bespoke commissions are a normal part of the week rather than a special favour. Bring a design, a photograph, or half an idea — we will tell you honestly what is possible, what it will weigh, and what it will cost before any work starts.

Hallmark you can verify
Every gold ornament leaves with a BIS HUID hallmark. The unique number is checked against the BIS database using your ID — purity is verified independently, not taken on the seller's word.
Rates shown before figures
The day's gold or silver rate, the making charge and the stone price are itemised and shown to you before any number is agreed. Nothing appears for the first time at the billing counter.
Exchange at today's rate
Old gold and silver are valued at the rate on the day you bring them in. The valuation sits on screen while you decide, and it is not revised once you have said yes.
Made by our own karigars
Bespoke commissions are finished in-house — set, polished and checked. Weight and making charges are agreed in advance, so the finished piece matches the quotation.

We take in old gold and silver at the rate on the day you bring it in, and the valuation is shown to you before any final number is agreed. Diamonds and gemstones come with independent certification, so what you are buying can be verified by a third party rather than only by us.
